So this is where I'm supposed to say something clever and witty to impress you, but...well, I'm just not that clever and witty. So, instead, I'll give you a brief bio, and you can get to know me better via my blog posts and the books.
For starters, I'm 40 years old, and I've been writing since high school. (The idea for a sci-fi show about life aboard a space station came to me in my sophomore lit class.) After a brief stint in the Army, part of which I served overseas in Germany for a year, I came back home to Twin Falls, Idaho, and enrolled in the College of Southern Idaho. I majored in English, and, after receiving my Associate of Arts Degree, I went on to Boise State University. I graduated with a BA in English, Writing Emphasis, in 2005.

During those years in college I continued to work on The Exxar Chronicles outside the classroom while honing my writing skills in class. After leaving BSU I returned to Twin Falls to write full time, and in fall of 2008 I completed the final draft of The Erayan. After two years of rejection from numerous literary agents, I decided to self publish via the Amazon Kindle Store. You'll find those links on The Books page.

In May of 2012 I quit my job as a computer assistant for an elementary school and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in search of a better career. I'm currently an assistant manager for a payday loan company, and, in my spare time, I enjoy watching TV, going to the movies, reading, and generally feasting on all things pop culture. As Maria Von Trapp says, here's a few of my favorite things:
TV Shows: Breaking Bad, The X-Files, The Shield, Archer, Star Trek (pretty much all 5 series and the movies, though DS9 and TNG are my main favorites), Friends, Seinfeld, Family Guy, Bob's Burgers, The Middle, Modern Family, The Goldbergs, Blackish, House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, The Walking Dead, Better Call Saul, Game of Thrones, Veep, Silicon Valley, The Wire, and Shameless.

Movies: too numerous to name here, but here's some of my favorites: American Beauty, The Sound of Music, Saving Mr. Banks, Mary Poppins, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Office Space, Guardians of the Galaxy, the new Star Trek films, Stargate, Argo, and 12 Monkeys.

Books: anything by Stephen King, George R R Martin's Song of Ice and Fire, Frank Herbert's Dune series, and historical biographies of British and European royalty.

In addition to the social media links above, you can also find me on Instagram and Goodreads.
